Still alive

Heyo folks.

I'm still alive here, and thinking about the game I just still don't have any time to do anything about it.  Oh hey, you know this job-search thing is taking way longer then usual.  Someone said to me the other day that we were in some kind of recession? Goodness you wouldn't know it by looking out a window!  Anywho, seems like nobody wants to hire anymore so I'm kind of stuck, shucks!

Anyway, just wanted to remind you guys that I'm not dead and the game is still on my mind even if I can't do anything about it.  Will keep you all informed.

  3. When you have a chance to continue working on the game, maybe looking at this will help you out; http://green.zero.jp/greentea/cips.html

    Good luck with your project.

  4. No problem. I didn't think the demo would be that good but you've really put down the groundwork for great things to come. Good luck!

  5. I feel ya, I'm stuck in a similar rut (though I've not been looking quite as long as you).

Keep up the good work, the demo looks extremely promising.

  6. Great Demo so far, you have the basework to be able to work up to something like Legend of Queen Opala, heh just need some voice actors and you'll have all your bases.
I was wondering when the next version would be out, any eta?

  7. Alas no timeline on such. I'm still struggling to find some decent and permanent work and so I have not the time to work on the game. I've thought about releasing all that I've done so far to let people play with it and update it themselves if they like, but I'd still prefer to finish the story/adventure I have in my head.

  8. Well why not release what you have so far and allow the community to bug test? you can lock the rgss files (i think thats what they are called) so we cant add or change stuff ourselves. we'll still be able to enjoy what you've created, give you feed back, and still allow you to finish the story in you're own way later when you have the time.

Also just a thought, you can head over to ULMF Under Construction section and talk to some of the people who are creating games there, maybe some programmers are there that could lend you a hand with the work.

  9. Is there still life in this project, or has it passed from sleep to death?

  10. Is still sleepy - however there is good news in that I have secured gainful employment and will be able to continue work on the game in short order.

  11. As awesome as the game news is, it is even more awesome that you can now support yourself. One of the best parts of life I think :D

  13. Hey, that's great news.

I don't know if it's your style, but releasing a demo of the current WIP when you resume the project would help drum up some interest lost during the hiatus.

  17. By the way, it would be nice if there is a spell in the arsenal of the transition to a personal level of astral containing the enslaved souls for sexual interaction (recently read like one of the authors of Samisdat - "http://samlib.ru/m/mihajlow_m_m/txt6-1.shtml")There nearer the end, a character can enter at will into the personal world of death - all the dead live there, they (growing by a few hills obtained), and then he can call on them in the ordinary world (or spirits, or creating a controlled Lich)
